Dr. Ryan J. Brandt has been in active practice at Coon Rapids Chiropractic Office since 2000.
Dr. Brandt completed his undergraduate degree by attending St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor of Science majoring in psychology. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2000.
He obtained his Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics/International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (DACO/IANM) in 2006. This specialty in chiropractic is a postgraduate credential that is achieved by written and oral boards after completing over 360 additional hours of practical and classroom study. He has been an item writer for the chiropractic orthopedic Diplomate examination for the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Dr. Brandt has also participated in past Board examinations as an examiner of the orthopedic candidates. He has contributed to and published patient case studies in a national journal. Dr. Brandt has obtained certification in Cox Technic.
He has been chosen as one of Minnesota’s top 100 Chiropractors as announced in Minnesota Monthly magazine in multiple years. Chiropractors who received the highest number of votes by their peers in chiropractic medicine are reflected in the Top Chiropractor list.
Coon Rapids Chiropractic Office has a state of the art Cox Technic 8 Flexion-Distraction Treatment Table that can treat both the lower back conditions such as disc bulge and facet syndrome. The table is capable of treating cervical disc problems and has been successful with some cases of stenosis or narrowing of the spinal canal and nerve openings.
Dr. Brandt has been a member of the Coon Rapids Rotary Club and served as club president in 2007-2008. He has served as a director on the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation Board from 2006-2012. He is a member of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists, Council on Chiropractic Orthopedists, Minnesota Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Dr. Brandt grew up in the North Suburban area of the Twin Cities. He has been married since 2000 and has two children. He enjoys golf, soccer, photography and travel. He has volunteered extensively in youth coaching and community sports boards.
